About General Gynaecology
Many gynaecological symptoms are common, but that does not mean you have to live with them. Heavy or painful periods, pelvic pain or hormonal changes can affect your work, relationships and quality of life, and most can be treated effectively once the cause is understood.
Your consultation starts with listening. Dr Makanda takes a careful history, performs an examination where appropriate and arranges investigations such as ultrasound or blood tests, then explains the options, from lifestyle and medical treatment to surgery, so you can decide together.
